Sanum Remedies

What are Sanum remedies?
The name Sanum is derived from the Latin word 'sanus' meaning healthy. Sanum therapy emphasizes an ecological approach to health by aiding regulation of the micro-flora permeating throughout the body. It uses various potentised microbial remedies to re-balance the 'soil' out of which diseases emerge. Many of the Sanum remedies work at a deep miasmatic level—often underlying chronic conditions—to increase overall constitutional and immune vitality.
The theory of pleomorphism
Sanum therapy is based on the pioneering research of the German microbiologist Prof. Dr. Günther Enderlein (1872-1968)
and his theory of pleomorphism, the concept that microbes can assume numerous forms within a developmental cycle, starting from virus-sized particles and progressing to bacteria and fungi. These microbial forms exist throughout the body from birth and are either symbiotic or pathogenic according to the conditions of the inner environment. By contrast, modern medicine rests on the mono-morphic view that microbes exist primarily in one form, and also that they mainly attack the body from the outside.

Natural bio-regulation
Enderlein also discovered a natural bio-regulatory process by which the inner microbial ecosystem of the body maintains a healthy balance. He identified the regulators that restore 'symbiosis equilibrium', which for him represented an ideal state of health. From this insight, he developed the unique isopathic remedies derived from fungal cultures. In any microbial life cycle, harmful virulent forms can be returned to harmless forms with the respective isopathic remedy.
Maximizing genetic health potential
The goal of Sanum therapy is to support the entire body and to remove any barriers that may be preventing patients from maximizing their genetic health potential. Modern Pleo-Sanum remedies are designed to help restore balance by assisting in ways such as: regulating pH and cellular respiration; supporting beneficial microflora throughout the body; improving immune function; supplementing mineral and vitamin deficiencies, and cleansing from lifestyle and environmental toxicity. Sanum remedies may either be used alone or in conjunction with acupuncture, homeopathy, herbs, nutrition and other forms of natural medicine.
